About Calvary: The Hill Church
Calvary: The Hill Church is a non-denominational Protestant congregation in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The church began in the summer of 2010 as a prayer meeting in Pastor Justin Thomas’s studio apartment. It now meets in a 100+ year old church building near Cal Anderson Park, purchased from the German United Church of Christ in 2020. Pastor Nick Taylor became Lead Pastor in 2022, and the church describes itself as elder-led and congregationally-ruled. Sunday Gathering is at 10:00 AM, with contemporary worship, children’s ministry, and small groups. Calvary: The Hill is also part of the Calvary Global Network.
