About Church of Apostles

Church of the Apostles (COTA) is a young Episcopal-Lutheran expression in Seattle. Worship is contemporary, with a weekly Sunday gathering at 4:30 PM at Fremont Abbey in Fremont. The church describes its life together as open to people without requiring a particular creed, doctrine, or belief in order to collaborate in worship or works. COTA names commitments to anti-racism and radical queer inclusion, and its programs include children’s ministry and small groups. The church was founded by Karen Ward. Theology Pub meets at Blue Star Pub in Wallingford on the first and third Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
