About Greater Christ Temple
Greater Christ Temple is an Apostolic church in Tacoma, Washington, with a charismatic worship style and children’s ministry. Founded in 1959, the church is led by Bishop Prentis Vasco Johnson, who was officially installed as pastor in October 2008. Its beliefs include water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with speaking in tongues. The church’s campus includes the Oasis of Hope Center, a 20,000-square-foot multi-use facility built in 2003 and dedicated in 2004. Greater Christ Temple has also launched three churches.
