About Lutheran Church
Lutheran Church of Christ the King is a welcoming, diverse congregation in Tacoma committed to reaching out and serving with the good news of Jesus Christ. Gatherings occur every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. for worship that includes preaching, song, prayer, and communion, with services available both in person and online. The church also hosts a Sunday Afternoon Worship twice monthly at King's Manor Assisted Living. As a Reconciling in Christ community, LCCK extends particular welcome to LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC siblings, and acknowledges the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish people, specifically the traditional homelands of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians where the building is situated. The congregation emphasizes care for one another and the vulnerable through ministry groups, community partnerships, and various opportunities for service and spiritual growth.
