About Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, established in 1959, is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod serving the South Puget Sound area near Tacoma, Washington. The congregation gathers around Word and Sacraments to proclaim the Gospel and extend God's Kingdom through witness, mercy, and life together. With a welcoming spirit that embraces people from all walks of life, Prince of Peace offers multiple worship opportunities including Sunday Divine Services with Holy Communion at 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, as well as Thursday Daily Lectionary Meditations. Beyond worship, the church nurtures spiritual growth through Bible studies, men's fellowship, educational forums, and community outreach including a food closet ministry. All are invited to share in this mission of proclaiming God's love demonstrated in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
