About Congregation Kol Ami
Congregation Kol Ami is a welcoming and egalitarian Reform Jewish congregation of approximately 130 families located in Kirkland, Washington. The community explicitly welcomes empty-nesters, LGBTQ individuals and families, interfaith families, Jews-by-choice, and visitors of all backgrounds. Led by Rabbi Kinberg, Kol Ami nurtures an atmosphere of openness and friendship, encouraging members to plant or transplant Jewish roots in a spirit of discovery and affirmation. The congregation is guided by the URJ Sacred Partnership model, emphasizing respect, trust, honesty, and transparent communication in building community relationships. In addition to regular Shabbat services, Kol Ami offers family-friendly programming and actively participates in interfaith events with neighboring houses of worship throughout the Kirkland area.
