About St Philip Catholic Church

St. Philip Catholic Parish in Woodland, Washington, welcomes visitors to experience Catholic worship rooted in over 150 years of faithful community presence. The parish traces its origins to 1872 when the first Catholic Mass in the Woodland area was celebrated in a family home, eventually becoming an established parish in 1912. Following a devastating fire in 1990, the community rebuilt and dedicated a new church building in 2001, demonstrating resilience and commitment to their faith. St. Philip serves both the Woodland community and, along with St. Mary of Guadalupe Mission in Ridgefield, offers multiple Mass times throughout the week in English and Spanish to accommodate various schedules and preferences.
