About Christ Episcopal Church
Christ Episcopal Church and St. Barnabas Chapel form a single parish with two worship centers serving the Clarksburg and Bridgeport communities in West Virginia. The parish offers a liturgical Episcopal tradition with Sunday Holy Eucharist services at both locations, including a 10:00 AM service at Christ Church with Children's Christian Education and live-streaming via Facebook. Beyond weekly worship, the congregation actively supports spiritual growth through Bible studies, prayer groups, and book studies, while also serving the broader community through support groups including AA and Smart Recovery meetings. The beautiful St. Barnabas Chapel features stunning stained glass windows crafted by artist Thomas Durrett, each rich with spiritual symbolism and honoring church members and their families. Visitors are warmly welcomed to experience the parish's blend of traditional worship and contemporary community engagement.
