About Grace Chapel Baptist Church
Grace Chapel Baptist Church, located on the outskirts of Kingwood, West Virginia, began in 1979 when a handful of families gathered under an old oak tree and has since grown into an established congregation. The church emphasizes Christ-centered preaching and worship, with a core message of "Christ and Him crucified" reflected in their singing, praying, and preaching at every service. Under the leadership of newly affirmed pastor Michael Yates, the congregation is organized around the New Testament model of elder leadership and every-member ministry, where believers serve one another and work together to grow in faith. Grace Chapel understands the local church as essential to the Christian life, with gifts distributed among all members for mutual encouragement and service. The church offers Sunday services that are also broadcast on WFSP at 107.7 FM and available via their YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.
