Old Stone Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg, West Virginia, is one of the oldest church buildings in continuous use west of the Alleghenies, with its native limestone sanctuary completed in 1796. The congregation was originally organized in 1783 and has maintained an unbroken tradition of worship for over two centuries, even serving as a hospital and troop shelter during the Civil War.
