Christ United Methodist Church, known as Stout Memorial, is located in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and welcomes all people to find hope, healing, and wholeness through Jesus Christ. The church offers two distinct worship experiences on Sunday mornings: a contemporary service at 8:45 a.m. featuring modern praise and worship music, and a traditional service at 10:45 a.m. with hymns and organ music. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. for both adults and children, and the church provides numerous opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible studies, small groups, and connect groups focused on various interests and service projects. Stout Memorial is deeply involved in community ministries and missions, supporting local outreach programs as well as international mission work through the United Methodist volunteers-in-missions program.
