About Good Shepherd Catholic Campus Ministries
Good Shepherd Catholic Campus Ministry is a welcoming faith community rooted in Catholic tradition, serving students, faculty, and staff at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Founded officially in 2004 and blessed as a dedicated center in 2008, the ministry provides a space for spiritual growth through the sacraments and community service. The center offers kitchen facilities, a chapel with a tabernacle, study rooms, a lounge, and spiritual resources including prayer books and rosaries. Students are invited to participate in Sunday Mass at nearby St. James Parish at 6:00 pm as part of the ministry, along with daily Mass opportunities and the sacrament of reconciliation. Campus Minister Maggie Moran welcomes all who seek to deepen their Catholic faith and experience Christ's love in a supportive campus environment.
