About Church Of Christ Winfield
Church Of Christ Winfield is a Christ-centered congregation in Winfield with what it describes as a heaven-centered goal. The congregation traces its beginning to the 1880s, when traveling evangelists Joseph H. Holbrook, Jeremiah Randolph, and Virgil Randolph helped establish the work. Its current building was dedicated in 1958 after a fire destroyed the downtown church building, with later additions including an educational building in 1975 and a fellowship room and classrooms in 1986. Mark Posey is listed as the current minister. The elders encourage families to take part in Bible classes and worship services, and the church includes children’s ministry among its programs.
