About ELCA Outreach Center
The ELCA Outreach Center, rooted in the Lutheran faith tradition, has served the Kenosha community since 1997 as an outreach of eight Evangelical Lutheran congregations endorsed by the Greater Milwaukee Synod. This faith-based organization is dedicated to sharing God's love by providing a safe and welcoming place where community members can access vital services to meet their everyday needs. The center offers a comprehensive range of support including clothing and personal care items, prescription assistance, computer access, resume building, job training, and youth programming, all designed to help families and individuals move toward self-sufficiency. With a strong commitment to community impact, the center has distributed over 1,000 pairs of boots, provided legal services to 190 people, and mobilized countless volunteer hours to strengthen local families.
