About Messiah Lutheran Church
Messiah Lutheran Church, founded in 1961, is a Lutheran congregation in Kenosha that gathers around Christ's saving Word and Sacraments in the Divine Service. The church holds firmly to the teachings of Scripture as confessed in Martin Luther's Small Catechism and follows the historic liturgical traditions of the Western Church, including traditional vestments and the rich musical heritage of Lutheran worship. Messiah welcomes visitors to experience their Sunday morning services at 9:00 a.m., followed by fellowship time, Sunday School, and adult Bible study from September through May. The congregation also offers midweek services during Lent and Advent on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. As a family-friendly parish serving the Kenosha community for over six decades, Messiah invites all to share in these gifts and grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
