About Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has served the La Crosse community for over 65 years as a welcoming congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The church embraces all races, identities, and backgrounds, creating a vibrant community where faith grows and friendships flourish. With four or more music ensembles and robust education programs nurturing over 50 youth ages 3-18, Good Shepherd offers diverse opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship. The congregation provides both in-person and online worship services, making faith accessible to all members of the community. Visitors are encouraged to arrive 15-20 minutes early to receive a warm welcome and tour of the facility.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church was founded in 1955 as a mission congregation of English Lutheran Church in La Crosse. It moved to its current location in 1961, and the building was expanded in 1982 and renovated again in 1995.
