About Sikh Society Of Wis Madison
Sikh Society of Wisconsin - Madison, known as Gurudwara Sahib, serves the growing Sikh community in the Madison area from its location in Middleton. The congregation built its current facility in 2007 to accommodate the expanding community, having previously operated from a ranch-style home since 1997. Gurudwara Sahib offers daily worship with morning Parkash and Nitnem services, and expanded Sunday programming that includes Kirtan Aasa Di War and Gurbani Kirtan followed by langar, the community meal that is central to Sikh practice. The temple welcomes visitors of all backgrounds to experience Sikh worship and the spirit of seva, or selfless service, that characterizes the faith community.
