About Muskego Apostolic Tabernacle
Muskego Apostolic Tabernacle began in fall 1988, when Reverend John Engelhardt, Shirley Engelhardt, and their three daughters held the first service in their living room with about 15 people attending. The church purchased a former VFW building in 1993 and renovated it for a sanctuary, offices, Sunday School, and youth rooms, with the first sanctuary service held on Thanksgiving Eve that November. In 2006, the church purchased adjoining land for future expansion. Rev. Shannon Schmidt and Hannah Schmidt became pastor in July 2018, while John Engelhardt became Bishop in an advisory role. The church offers Sunday worship and Sunday School, Sunday evening praise and prayer, Wednesday Bible study, and children's ministry.
