About Association Retreat
The Association Retreat Center (ARC) is a year-round, full-service camp and retreat facility located in northwestern Wisconsin along the picturesque St. Croix River Valley, just 45 minutes from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan area. Operated by the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations since 1979, when the former USAF Radar Base was repurposed for ministry, the ARC exists to glorify Jesus Christ by providing a place where people can be equipped to make a positive difference in their lives, homes, churches, and communities. The center offers team-building, leadership training, and physical and spiritual renewal for visitors of all ages. Operating under the theme "Come Away and Rest Awhile," the ARC welcomes individuals and groups seeking a retreat experience centered on building loving relationships and a firm spiritual foundation through gracious hospitality and updated facilities.
