About Father Carr's Place 2B Mother Teresa Center

Father Carr's Place 2B Mother Teresa Center is a Catholic Life Enrichment Center founded in 1974 by Father Martin Carr to minister to the poor and build community. Located on a nearly ten-acre campus in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the center operates four buildings that provide housing for the homeless, a free medical clinic, a community food bank, dining facilities, a chapel, and a retreat center. The ministry is driven by Christian values and focuses on supporting individuals' physical, mental, financial, and spiritual health through temporary housing, meals, groceries, healthcare, educational programs, and volunteer opportunities. Daily masses are held in the chapel for prayer and reflection. Father Carr's Place 2B welcomes everyone regardless of background and operates almost entirely through volunteer labor, relying on the generosity of private donors rather than government funding.
