St. Ann's Catholic Oratory, located at the crossroads of County Road A and County Road G in Brooks, Wisconsin, near Oxford and Grand Marsh, has served the local Catholic community since its founding in 1912 when Edwin Huber donated land for the church and cemetery. Originally presided over by Fr. Leo Pollock, the church began in a basement before receiving a prefabricated white clapboard building from Sears and Roebuck in 1916. Through the generosity of parishioners and community members over more than a century, St. Ann's has been fully renovated with new pews, altar, stained glass windows, and modern amenities, celebrating baptisms, first communions, weddings, and funerals throughout its history. As part of St. Joseph's Parish serving Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin, St. Ann's operates as a Catholic Oratory with occasional Masses held between spring and fall months, welcoming loyal parishioners, seasoned visitors, and new guests to celebrate Mass and special ceremonies.
