About St Luke's United Church of Christ
St. Luke's United Church of Christ has served South Milwaukee since 1907 as a welcoming community of faith. Currently meeting at the South Milwaukee United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m., the congregation gathers in an informal parlor setting under the spiritual leadership of Rev. Peter Haskins, who became the settled pastor in April 2025. As a United Church of Christ congregation, St. Luke's is committed to bringing all people to Christian faith through word and sacrament, empowering members to live out the teachings of Jesus Christ. The church actively engages in outreach ministries, including assistance with food and shelter for those in need. Visitors of all backgrounds are warmly welcomed to join this spiritually united body in worship and community.
