About Zion Lutheran Church Wels
Zion Lutheran Church in Stetsonville, Wisconsin, has served the Shawano area since its founding in 1949, growing from seven visionary members to a congregation of nearly 1,000 baptized members. Part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, ZION offers three worship opportunities each weekend, including traditional Saturday evening and Sunday morning services at the main sanctuary, plus an informal outdoor summer service at Shawano County Park on Shawano Lake. The congregation is deeply rooted in community outreach, youth and family ministries, health ministry, and education, reflecting its stated mission to welcome all and share God's love. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Rev. Scott Ludford since 2015, ZION provides an inclusive faith community with extensive programs including men's and women's groups, Stephen Ministry, and various benevolent activities throughout the year.
