About Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, is a Missouri Synod congregation rooted in the Lutheran tradition and dedicated to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Founded in 1965 as a mission church, Good Shepherd has grown from eleven families to a vibrant community that became self-supporting within a decade. Under the leadership of Rev. Joel Matthew Brassfield, who was installed in January 2024 and transitioned to full-time ministry in April 2024, the church offers weekly Sunday worship at 9:15 a.m. along with multiple Bible study opportunities throughout the week. The congregation emphasizes fellowship, generous service to the poor, and the sharing of Christian joy.
