West Middleton Lutheran Church-ELCA in Verona, Wisconsin carries a rich heritage spanning over 150 years of faithful ministry. The congregation traces its roots to 1854 when German Evangelicals began gathering in area homes, eventually establishing the original Zion Evangelical Church in 1872 at the corner of Mineral Point and Pioneer Roads. As the community grew, the church relocated in 1961 to its current location and became formally incorporated as West Middleton Lutheran Church within the American Lutheran Church tradition. Today, the congregation strives to be a fellowship active in worship, dedicated in discipleship, and caring in service, welcoming visitors to experience their Sunday worship and community fellowship. The church maintains an active calendar of events and offers multiple ways to engage, including in-person services and livestreamed worship available on Facebook and YouTube.
