About St Mark's Ev Lutheran Church
St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown has served the community for over 170 years, beginning with believers gathering in homes and growing into a vibrant congregation committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The church is grounded in the authority of Holy Scripture and welcomes all people into their faith community. St. Mark's also operates a Christ-centered classical school providing education from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade for families seeking a biblically-rooted educational foundation. The congregation emphasizes the timeless truths of God's Word as the basis for their faith, teaching that God is triune, that Jesus Christ died for humanity's sins and rose on Easter, and that believers will experience resurrection because of Christ's victory over death.
