About First Presbyterian Church
First Presbyterian Church of Waukesha is a close-knit family church with a rich history and abiding presence in downtown Waukesha. The congregation has embarked on a new journey by joining together with St. Matthias Episcopal Church, creating a blended worship experience that honors both Presbyterian and Episcopal traditions. Worship services combine elements from both denominations, including the celebration of Communion every Sunday, known as the Eucharist in the Episcopal tradition and the Lord's Supper in the Presbyterian tradition. Led by Rev. David Simmons and Rev. Nancy Hodges, the church remains committed to sharing Christ in Word and Deed while welcoming all people into worship, study, fellowship, and service within the wider Waukesha community.
