About St John Lutheran Church
St. John Lutheran Church, a proud member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), is located in Wausau, Wisconsin and welcomes both longtime members and visitors to experience Lutheran worship and community. The church is dedicated to loving God and each other, growing spiritually through Word and Sacrament, and reaching out with the Gospel through community outreach programs. St. John also supports an affiliated elementary school serving grades 3K through 8th grade and offers a variety of programs for children including Sunday School, Wednesday night JAM (Jesus and Me), and Vacation Bible School. The congregation invites all to join their Sunday services or Thursday evening worship, or to visit the church office during normal business hours to learn more about the Lutheran faith and St. John's mission of caring for others in the pattern of Christ.

Service Format: Sunday services are held at 7:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., with Thursday services at 7:00 p.m. (Note: 5th Sundays have only one service at 9:30 a.m. with a meal following).
