About St Leo's Kitchen
St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish in West Salem, Wisconsin serves the merged Catholic communities of the former St. Leo the Great and St. Mary's parishes. The parish was established in 1957 as St. Leo the Great with approximately 25 founding families, and underwent significant growth and renovation over the decades, including the addition of an annex, rectory, and classroom spaces in 1979. In 2021, following the structural failure of St. Mary's Church in Bangor, the two parish families merged under the new name St. Teresa of Kolkata, consolidating their faith community in the West Salem church building. The parish offers a welcoming spiritual home rooted in Catholic tradition and invites visitors to join in their worship and community life.
