About Saint John's Lutheran Church
Saint John's Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids is a congregation of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod that gathers to receive God's gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation in Jesus Christ through His Word and Sacraments. Under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Matthew Lorfeld, the church offers worship services on Saturday at 4:00 PM, Sunday at 9:30 AM, and Wednesday at 6:00 PM, with the Lord's Supper celebrated every Saturday and Sunday as well as the first and third Wednesdays of each month. The congregation welcomes visitors to join them in worship and Bible Study, with additional community engagement through Monday Bible Study at 1:00 PM and a Wednesday community meal at 5:00 PM. The church is located at 8020 South Park Road and has deep roots in the Wisconsin Rapids area, with an associated cemetery established in 1866.
