About St John's Lutheran Church
St. John Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids is a congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod that welcomes visitors to experience God's gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation through worship and the sacraments. Led by Pastor Matthew Lorfeld since 2023, the church offers multiple opportunities for spiritual growth through regular worship services, Bible study, and community fellowship. The congregation gathers for worship on Saturday evenings, Sunday mornings, and Wednesday evenings, with the Lord's Supper celebrated every Saturday and Sunday as well as on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. In addition to weekly worship, the church hosts Bible study on Monday afternoons and serves a community meal on Wednesday evenings, reflecting a commitment to both spiritual nourishment and neighborly service.
