About Our Saviour Lutheran Church
Our Savior Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod that has served the Torrington, Wyoming community for over 85 years. The church describes itself as Scriptural, liturgical, and Christ-centered, holding to the tenets of the Reformation: Scripture Alone, Grace Alone, and Faith Alone. Worship services emphasize the Divine Service format with the liturgy as a central element that points members and visitors to Christ and the story of salvation. The congregation welcomes families with children and offers Christian education programs for preschool through high school, as well as adult Bible study. Visitors are encouraged to join the church family for Sunday worship at 9:00 AM and Bible class to learn more about the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Dress Code: Some people wear their Sunday best while others dress more casually—both are welcome. Service Format: The Divine Service is held every Sunday at 9:00 AM and follows a liturgical format; you will receive a bulletin upon entry and can follow along using the Lutheran Service Book hymnal found in the pew, with page numbers listed in the bulletin. Visitor Tips: Enter through the double doors on the east side of the building or through the front doors near the sanctuary; children are welcomed and encouraged to participate actively, with coloring sheets and a cry room available; Holy Communion is celebrated on the first, third, and fifth Sundays, and visitors interested in receiving communion should speak with an Elder or the Pastor.
