What to Expect at Potter's House Christian Fellowship in Yuma, Arizona

Dress Code: At Potter's House, you'll find a casual and welcoming atmosphere. There is no strict dress code, so feel free to come as you are, whether that's in jeans and a t-shirt or something a little dressier. The most important thing is that you come ready to worship and connect with the community.

Service Format: The Sunday morning service starts at 10:30 AM and typically lasts around 1-1.5 hours. The service begins with a time of worship led by the church's worship team. You can expect a blend of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns.

After the worship time, the pastor will deliver a biblically-based message. The sermons aim to be practical, applicable, and encourage personal growth in faith. Spanish translation is provided in-house for those who need it.

Following the sermon, there is often a time of response where you'll have the opportunity to come forward for prayer or to make a commitment. The service wraps up with any announcements or final blessings.

In addition to the Sunday morning service, there is also an evening service at 6:30 PM, as well as a Wednesday evening service at 7:00 PM. These services follow a similar format.

Tips for First-Time Visitors: - Feel free to arrive a few minutes early to get settled and grab a cup of coffee or tea from the lobby. - Introduce yourself to the greeters at the door - they'll be happy to help you find the sanctuary, childcare, or answer any other questions. - Don't worry about being new - the congregation is very friendly and welcoming to visitors. - Participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. You can sing along, listen attentively, or simply observe. - If you have children, check out the children's ministry areas. They provide age-appropriate programs during the services. - After the service, feel free to stick around and introduce yourself to the pastor or other members of the congregation. They'd love to meet you and answer any questions you might have.
