Churches in Bearden, AR

For a first visit in Bearden, it is worth checking directly with a church before Sunday, since few congregations share Sunday service times. If worship style matters to you, a couple of churches note contemporary worship, and one notes a traditional style, so calling or messaging ahead can help you choose well. Families may want to ask about kids ministry and youth group options, since those programs are only noted in a limited way. If you are hoping to get connected beyond Sunday worship, small groups are mentioned among the available programs. A good starting point is to visit a welcoming congregation such as First Southern Baptist Church, Harmony Grove United Methodist Church, Greater MT Olive Baptist Church, or Hopeville Assembly of God.

What stands out is the strong Baptist presence alongside a few Methodist and Pentecostal traditions. Many churches describe themselves in terms of serving the Bearden community, and several use welcoming language. Greater MT Olive Baptist Church emphasizes spiritual growth and fellowship, while Mount Olive Baptist Church highlights dynamic worship and community transformation, giving visitors a sense of congregations that value both worship and connection.
