About St John's Presbyterian Church
St. John's Presbyterian Church in Berkeley is a vibrant, community-centered congregation deeply committed to serving the East Bay area socially, educationally, artistically, and spiritually. The church hosts regular Sunday worship at 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary with online participation available via Zoom, and welcomes all visitors with an inclusive "come as you are" approach. Beyond weekly services, St. John's functions as a dynamic community hub, providing meeting space for more than three dozen East Bay groups throughout the week and operating three schools on-site. The church embraces a rich tradition of spiritual formation, offering communion on the first Sundays, children's and youth programs, fellowship gatherings, Bible study groups, bell choir, and various service ministries including Food Not Bombs. St. John's is fully accessible with ADA accommodations throughout the building, and the welcoming congregation invites everyone to discover meaningful spirituality and community engagement.

Dress Code: Come as you are — everyone is welcome regardless of attire. Service Format: Sunday worship at 10 a.m. features Scripture readings, sermon, and hymn singing; available in-person in the Sanctuary or online via Zoom. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. Visitor Tips: Arrive early to find parking on College Avenue, Garber Street, or Forest Street, or use the underground garage. The church is fully ADA accessible with disabled parking spaces and an elevator.
