About Syrian Orthodox Church
The Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch, Archdiocese of the Western United States, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1952 and reformed in 1995 to serve seventeen western states. Based in Burbank, California, the archdiocese comprises 25 churches and parishes throughout the western region and provides spiritual guidance, liturgical leadership, and community support to the Syriac Orthodox faithful. The church maintains active ministries including youth programs, healthcare and education initiatives through the Syrian American Association of Science and Health, and regular diocesan gatherings for clergy and lay leaders. Visitors are welcome to experience the rich spiritual heritage of the ancient Syriac Orthodox tradition and join in prayer and fellowship with the local community.
