About Saint James Orthodox Church of Jerusalem
Saint James Orthodox Church of Jerusalem, located in Milpitas, California, has served the greater San Jose area since 1995 with deep historical and spiritual roots connected to the Holy Land. The parish follows the Old Julian Church Calendar and traditions established in Jerusalem, with its founding blessed by His Beatitude Patriarch Diodoros of Jerusalem. Under the spiritual leadership of the Very Reverend Father Jeries Hanna, one of the first Jerusalem-ordained priests in North America, the church has grown to welcome parishioners from diverse backgrounds around the world. Saint James offers a rich liturgical experience conducted in English, Arabic, and some Greek, maintaining the ancient traditions of Orthodox Christianity while serving as a vibrant community in the Silicon Valley region.
