About Christian Science Reading Room
First Church of Christ, Scientist, Rancho Santa Fe is a branch of The Mother Church in Boston and has been serving the local community and surrounding areas for over 80 years. The church began with informal services in a private home in 1942 and eventually moved to its current building on La Flecha, which was constructed in 1954 and first used for services in 1955. As a Christian Science congregation, the church emphasizes Bible-based faith centered on healing, compassion, and the understanding of God as Love. The community welcomes visitors to join Sunday services, Wednesday testimony meetings, and other events throughout the year. A children's room is provided during services, and remote participation via Zoom is available for those unable to attend in person.
