Church Of Christ in Newark is a community-driven, Jesus-focused congregation with roots in the area dating back to 1961, when a small group began meeting in Brookside. Its ministries include Life Groups, which are small, informal gatherings of about 8 to 15 people for fellowship. The church also serves the wider community through a Food Pantry and a monthly yard sale that raises money for the People’s House. Blue Hens for Christ, its long-standing campus ministry, serves students at the University of Delaware.
