About Episcopal Children's Services
Episcopal Children's Services is a faith-based organization serving Northeast and Central Florida with a mission to empower communities and help underserved children enter school ready to learn. For over 50 years, ECS4Kids has provided comprehensive early childhood education programs including Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK), Head Start, Early Head Start, and School Readiness services across 14 counties, serving over 27,000 children and families. The organization operates 30 Head Start and Early Head Start centers while also offering Child Care Resource and Referral services to help families access quality, affordable childcare. Rooted in Episcopal values of collaboration, integrity, respect, community, learning, and education, ECS4Kids works with families and caregivers to strengthen children's motor, cognitive, social-emotional, language, and problem-solving development. The organization's holistic approach addresses generational poverty through multi-generational family support and connections to local community resources, ensuring every child and family has access to high-quality education and support.
