About St Gregorious Orthodox
St. Gregorious Orthodox in Thonotosassa is a parish of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church of India, formed on November 4, 1989, and named after St. Gregorios of Parumala. Rev. Fr. George Paulose was appointed Vicar on November 9, 1990. In its early years, the congregation held Holy Qurbana regularly at the parish hall of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Temple Terrace. The parish purchased two acres with a building in May 1994, and a small church on the property was consecrated on August 16, 1997.
