About Body of Christ Worship Center
Body of Christ Worship Center in Columbus, Georgia was founded in 2004 when Pastor and Co-Pastor Wyatt felt called by the Holy Spirit to establish an official ministry after conducting Bible studies in their home. The church is named after 1 Corinthians 12:12 and emphasizes the unity and diversity of believers as members of Christ's body. Beginning with five families, the congregation has experienced significant growth and relocated twice to accommodate expansion, most recently to 1500 13th Avenue, where substantial renovations were completed debt-free in 2008. The church also operates an outreach center and focuses on equipping mature believers to demonstrate their Kingdom purpose through Word, Worship, and Prayer. BCWC holds a Trinitarian theology and practices water baptism by immersion, Holy Communion, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit as central to the faith experience.
