What to Expect: First-Time Visitor's Guide to River City Church of Christ in Columbus, Georgia

Dress Code: At River City Church of Christ, you'll find that the dress code is casual and comfortable. Most people wear slacks, jeans, or khakis, paired with a nice shirt or blouse. Feel free to come as you are - the focus here is on worshiping God, not focusing on fancy attire.

Service Format: The Sunday morning worship service starts at 9:30 am and lasts around an hour. The format includes:

- Opening song and prayer - Reading and discussion of Bible passages - Communion (everyone is welcome to participate) - Sermon/Lesson from one of the ministers - Closing song and prayer

The evening service at 5:00 pm has a similar format, but may be a bit more intimate.

On Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, the church gathers for a Bible study, which is an excellent opportunity to dive deeper into God's word in a relaxed, discussion-based setting.

Tips for Visitors: - Feel free to sit anywhere - there's no assigned seating. - Participate as much or as little as you're comfortable. No pressure! - Don't worry about the offering - visitors are not expected to contribute. - Introduce yourself to the greeters or ministers before or after the service.
