The church offers two Sunday worship services: a 9:30 AM Praise and Worship service featuring contemporary music led by the McKendree Praise Team with drums, piano, bass guitar, and keyboard, and an 11:00 AM Traditional Worship service with hymns, choir, bell choirs, and orchestral music. Beyond worship, McKendree provides Wednesday Night Suppers, small groups, youth programs, and numerous service opportunities including mission trips and disaster response training. Children are welcome; nursery care is provided for children up to 5 years old, and children are invited to participate in age-appropriate activities during both services. Visitor Tips: Enter via the easiest entrance underneath the steeple and park in visitor spots near the steeple. You will be greeted upon entering and coffee and donuts are available. No one will ask you to stand or say anything unless you choose to participate, and you are invited to participate in Holy Communion regardless of membership or prior experience. The church provides check-in options but promises not to pressure visitors.
