Churches in Rex, GA

For a first visit, it’s worth checking directly with the church before you go, since few churches share Sunday service times publicly. If you are visiting with children, ask ahead about kids ministry; only a small amount of program information is available, though one church notes that kind of ministry. Worship style details are also limited, with traditional worship identified in just one case, so a quick call or message can help you know what to expect. If you are comparing churches, pay attention to the congregation’s stated focus: Southside Church of God emphasizes being Bible-grounded and Spirit-led, while Convenant With Him Ministries highlights spiritual growth and fellowship.

What stands out in Rex is the steady local focus. Several churches describe themselves in terms of serving the community, welcoming residents, or encouraging fellowship. Macedonia AME Church brings a historic AME presence, while Baptist and Church of God congregations add familiar Christian traditions. The overall feel is practical and community-minded rather than program-heavy.
