About Screven Church Of God
Screven Church of God is a historic congregation in Screven, Georgia, with roots tracing back to 1938 when A.G. Carroll and 38 charter members established the church. The original building was constructed between 1938 and 1940, dedicated by Reverend Earl Paulk, and a new sanctuary was added in 1970 under the pastorate of Reverend Haskell Eavenson. Today, under the leadership of Pastor Michael DiPietro, the church continues its mission to engage the broken and lost, help people experience God's love and mercy, and empower believers through God's Spirit and Word. The congregation offers ministries for youth, children, music, and media, and invites visitors to join them in their journey of spiritual growth and service to the community.
