About St. Joseph's Church
Saint Joseph Catholic Church serves the Makawao community on Maui as a welcoming parish dedicated to stewardship of the Gospel and the Holy Eucharist. The church offers daily and weekend Masses, with service times ranging from early morning to evening to accommodate various schedules. Beyond liturgy, the parish supports the community through numerous ministries including youth programs, religious education for children and adults, a food pantry with regular distributions, a thrift shop, and spiritual programs such as adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Hour devotions. Service Format: Daily Mass is offered Monday through Saturday at 7 a.m., with Saturday evening Mass at 5 p.m. and three Sunday Masses at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., and 5 p.m. Confessions are available Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Eucharistic Adoration is held Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Visitor Tips: New parishioners are invited to register at the Parish Office during office hours (Monday 11 a.m.–3 p.m., Tuesday–Friday 8 a.m.–3 p.m.). The parish welcomes all visitors and provides information about joining the parish community.
