About The Cross Church
The Cross Church is a non-denominational, multi-cultural congregation located in the heart of East Chicago, Indiana, dedicated to demonstrating God's love to their community and beyond. Led by Senior Pastors Donald and Marlene Ramirez, the church emphasizes Christ-centered teaching that is relevant and faith-challenging, paired with passionate worship that expresses the heart of God. The congregation welcomes everyone as they are, believing that encountering God's presence brings transformation, and maintains a judgment-free environment where visitors are considered family upon arrival. With a strong commitment to community outreach programs that extend the church's impact throughout the city and surrounding regions, The Cross Church seeks to shift hearts toward God while magnifying Christ above all else. Their messages focus on the power of the cross to bring about life change, and they explicitly invite those exploring faith, seeking belonging, or looking for a church home to experience firsthand what the community represents.
