About Lafayette Urban Ministry
Lafayette Urban Ministry is a collaborative network of more than 52 churches serving as a vital social safety net for individuals, children, and families throughout Tippecanoe County. For over 50 years, LUM has worked to restore hope, dignity, and self-respect to neighbors in need through comprehensive programs including food assistance, financial aid, youth services, immigration support, and homeless services. Grounded in Christian faith while welcoming people of all beliefs, LUM actively addresses systemic injustices and works to transform lives by meeting basic human needs and creating pathways out of poverty. The organization is committed to loving neighbors, seeking justice, and empowering the most vulnerable members of the Greater Lafayette community.
