About St Anthony's Church
St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Davenport, Iowa, is a historic Roman Catholic parish established in 1837 and recognized as the second-oldest Catholic church in Iowa still in existence. Located in downtown Davenport near the Mississippi River at 417 N. Main Street, the parish serves a diverse and growing community with a robust Hispanic presence. Following a 2020 merger with St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Anthony's offers multiple Mass times including Spanish-language services, and the community is actively engaged in service to the less fortunate through ministries like the McAnthony window, which serves meals on weekdays. The parish welcomes both visitors and those seeking a new church home to join their welcoming Catholic community.
